PRESS RELEASE: Successful premiere of the INOVA COLLECTION

A lot of praise from the industry!

  • more than 1,200 trade visitors at the premiere of the trade fair
  • Exhibitors and visitors praise concept and excellent organisation
  • INOVA NIGHT on Sunday unites the industry

Frankfurt, August 2018 – The first edition of the INOVA COLLECTION, the new trade fair for jewellery, watches and accessories in the Rhine-Main region, came to a successful close on Monday. For three days – from 25 – 27 August 2018 – the fair was a focal point for more than 1,200 trade visitors from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, but also from overseas.

The trade fair concept and the associated organisation were particularly praised. “A big compliment to the organizer and the team of the INOVA COLLECTION for this great fair. We are simply thrilled – by the brand portfolio, the atmosphere and the extremely friendly staff. We come from Würzburg and also the connection to the fair is great,” says a delighted master goldsmith Klaudija Roso. “We are also not used to the fact that the INOVA COLLECTION offers so many inclusive services for its visitors,” adds goldsmith Andrea Rösser, who has travelled especially from Portugal.

Well-known brands such as ARISTO VOLLMER, BEDRA, Diamond Group, Filius Zeitdesign, Gebrüder Schaffrath, Hesse + Co., ILR-Collection, KalbART, Kurt-Eberhard Kalb, MANU Schmuckwerkstatt, Manuela Carl, M&M Uhren, Rolf Cremer and Yvette Ries Collection were present at the premiere and presented their latest trends. After the successful weekend, many exhibitors see potential for the fair to become an established industry event: “The atmosphere here is very good, this is exactly what makes the INOVA COLLECTION different from all other trade fairs in our industry. This is good for both exhibitors and visitors, because everyone is relaxed. I see a future for the fair. Here you get a good cross-section of the industry in a small, compact space. I could imagine that we’ll be back next time – it’s a kind of home game for us,” explains Christian Schaffrath, owner of Gebrüder Schaffrath GmbH.

In order to provide the necessary framework conditions, the organizer plans to open a second hall next year for interested exhibitors as well. Dr. Bernhard Burger, CEO of the AG of the same name, relies on the cooperation of organizers and exhibitors for the successful exploitation of the existing potential: “Expectations for a new format may be somewhat overestimated at the beginning. It is important to make your own contribution and see that the organizer is just as committed to making the fair a success. And this is quite simply available here at the INOVA COLLECTION. We definitely want to come back next year – loyalty and cohesion are important if you want to achieve something together”.

Apart from a fresh concept, trade visitors could also look forward to exciting network formats and an attractive supporting programme. The highlight on Sunday evening was the INOVA NIGHT on the island of Nonnenau, one of the most beautiful locations on the Rhine. Over 250 exhibitors, visitors, industry service providers and journalists toasted to the successful start of this exclusive industry event. On behalf of all exhibitors, Andreas Filius, Managing Director of Filius Zeitdesign, thanked the organizers for their commitment: “At the INOVA COLLECTION, service is still a top priority. This is very rarely seen at trade fairs these days. The team was extremely friendly and you always looked into smiling faces.” For his exhibitor colleague Lukas Stöcker from Fritz Bandel, the INOVA NIGHT was one of the best events he experienced in the industry.
